In happier times,there is an anecdote who has told by Nathan Milstein. Vladimir Horowitz on doctor`s order is used to take a walk every day and would stop off at his apartment to play the piano at his daughter,on one ocassion he broke a string. Aparently Milstein`s daughter asked his father ''is that good?'' Dad`s answer was ''if that is good? its miraculous. He is the greatest pianist in the world''.
His daughter '' does he know it ?'' ....
